My Story…
Over 20 years I have built a reputation as an innovative marketeer who makes ideas a reality in today’s marketplace.
As a Communications Specialist I have a proven talent for translating an organisation’s corporate objectives into a clear integrated message relevant to all target groups, both internally and externally. I currently manage a company called Breakthrough Marketing.
The success of my ‘outside-the-box’ approach can be seen across a range of radically diverse sectors.
My portfolio includes the creation of acclaimed business and consumer brands such as Denny Waifos, Irish Life (Scope – ‘Shares Made Simple’), Colet Earth and Volvic Water and most recently Green Farm Foods.
In designing and implementing some of Ireland’s highest profile communications campaigns for leading clients such as Kerry Foods, Irish Life Plc, C&C Bottlers, Colet International, Golden Pages, Green Farm Foods, and Meditec Medical, I have displayed a strength for defining and capturing core messages.
My campaigns are marked by an ability to consistently promote ‘message clarity’ to the point where consumers and employees want to pay attention.
I fundamentally believe that the only way to create success at the highest level is through people. This belief has been confirmed by long experience.
I have led marketing departments with teams of up to twenty-seven people, coordinating input from various disciplines in a joint focus on a shared objective. I have also worked specifically with employees to reaffirm their faith in the mission and activity of their organisation and to develop sustainable internal communications.
My skills are particularly suited to the following scenarios.
- An organisation that needs to change its product/service portfolio, or to transform its strategic focus significantly to adapt to changed circumstances.
- A high potential start up business/service of 2m or more that needs to make its idea happen.
My style is very much hands-on and in-house. I take responsibility for all steps of the project until agreed objectives have been delivered.
